一 |     Baghdad, Oct 12 (UNI) As a result of two explosions in the Iraqi city of Tarmiyah, located north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, 8 people were injured, including 4 law enforcement officers, Iraqi news agency Shafaq reported on Wednesday, citing a source.

The first explosion occurred when a civilian car was blown up with an explosive device, the source said, adding that four civilians were injured.

The source added that after demining team arrived on the scene, another explosive device blew up, injuring three security personnel and an officer.

UNI/SPUTNIK GNK。    Colombo, Oct 14 (UNI) The Sri Lankan government is to donate Covid-19 vaccines worth 40 million US dollars to Myanmar, Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella told journalists here on Friday.

He said that Sri Lanka has an excess of 9 million doses of Pfizer vaccine and the country plans to give 6 million to Myanmar.

The minister said that the vaccines are to expire by the end of the year.

Rambukwella said the Sri Lankan authorities are working with the World Health Organization to deliver the vaccines to Myanmar.
