A | (ECNS) -- The 13th Wuzhen Theatre Festival will run from Oct. 15 to 25 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, featuring 25 productions from 10 countries. This year’s festival will be held under the theme “Serene Transcendence,” a phrase drawn from The Book of Jin that evokes a sense of inner calm and lofty aspiration. Organizers said the theme reflects the festival’s commitment to staying true to the original spirit of theatrical creation. The featured productions will be presented across five sections, with 71 performances of 25 plays staged over 11 days. The lineup includes 11 overseas productions from countries including Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Chile, along with two China-international co-productions and 12 domestic works. The festival will open with The Wild Duck, directed by German theatre director Thomas Ostermeier and performed by Schaubühne Berlin. The production premiered at the 2025 Avignon Festival and received widespread acclaim. The closing production, Cosmos, will be directed by French director Maëlle Poésy and performed by Dijon-Burgundy Theatre. Based on the true story of NASA’s Mercury 13 program, the play explores the experiences of women who sought to become astronauts during the early years of the U.S. space program. The festival has also continued to provide a platform for young theatre creators. Over the past 12 years, its youth competition has attracted more than 10,000 applicants, selected over 800 young theatre artists and brought 197 productions to the stage, according to Wuzhen’s official website. For the first time, this year’s youth competition will open to applicants worldwide, inviting Chinese-language theatre creators from around the globe to submit works inspired by the themes of “gliding, fox and radio.” Huang Lei, co-founder and chief producer of the festival, said the competition welcomes both original works and adaptations of classics or literary works, with the aim of creating more opportunities for young artists and supporting the development of Chinese theatre. 。 BTS leader RM sent the internet into chaos after sharing an unexpected glimpse of the group inside what looks like a dance rehearsal room. After days of hinting at their comeback album, the rapper posted a new photo that showed all seven members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, together in one frame.
While the OT7 sighting itself was enough to make ARMY emotional, it was Suga’s presence that created the loudest reaction online. The rapper has kept a very low profile since his DUI case and military discharge, so this rare appearance immediately went viral.
According to Korean media reports, HYBE’s performance team first noticed RM’s sudden update on the account @pcmkr_googi, where he also shared another picture from a different angle and tagged all seven members. The images showed the group standing casually in what looked like a practice studio, instantly signalling to fans that something big is brewing.
For ARMY who have been waiting for even the smallest update, Suga showing up in the rehearsal shot was the highlight. Fans shared that they have missed seeing him in group content and were overjoyed to spot him again. ARMY reacts: “We’re not imagining this, right?” Within minutes, RM’s upload dominated fan communities and social media. Comments poured in thanking him for the update.

Only Namjoon drops OT7 pics like this,” a fan wrote. Another commented, “This feels like his quiet way of saying, yes, they’re all together.” Many were especially emotional over Suga. “I would recognise that stance anywhere. MIN YOONGI IS BACK!” one fan wrote. Another joked, “Yoongi’s comeback might be bigger than the group comeback at this point.”
BTS comeback album & world tour buzz
The group recently travelled to the US to record songs for their comeback album, scheduled to release in spring 2026. RM earlier teased that the music feels completely new, while Jimin admitted during a livestream that they’re nervous about performing again after such a long break.Reports also claim BTS is preparing for a massive 65-stop world tour, including 30 shows in North America. However, BIGHIT MUSIC has clarified that the tour schedule is still undecided.
